Blackjack Is Like A Roller Coaster
Blackjack is a game that evokes images of a wild ride. Blackjack is a game that starts slowly, but gradually gets faster. As you grow your bankroll, you feel like you are getting to the top of the coaster and then when you aren’t expecting it, the bottom drops out.
Blackjack is so much like a wild ride the similarities are frightening. As with the popular amusement park ride, your blackjack game will peak and things will seemingly be going well for a time before it bottoms out once again. You most certainly have to be a blackjack player that’s able to readjust to the ups and downs of the game given that the game of black jack is awash with them.
If you like the little coaster, one that can’t go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way you can enjoy the crazy ride is with a bigger bet, then hop on board for the crazy ride of your life on the monster coaster. The big money player will love the view from the monster crazy ride because he or she is not mentally processing the drop as they rush head first to the top of the game.
A win goal and a loss limit works well in blackjack, but very few players adhere to it. In blackjack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it is going up, that’s just great, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster starts to flip and turn, you had better bail out in a hurry.
If you don’t, you may not easily recount how much you enjoyed the good life while your cash was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, a mad ride and your head in the clouds. As you are reminiscing on "what ifs", you won’t clearly recall how "high up" you went but you will recollect that disappointing fall as clear as day.
