My Gambling Den Vingt-et-un Type Casino Game
I have played countless of rounds of twenty-one. I started working my way into the gambling dens when I was 16. I have played online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. With all that said I have still lost all kinds of money at blackjack. The gambling halls have made it very hard to defeat the casino.
I still like the game and wager on a regular basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a variation of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get rich with this method or defeat the house, still you will experience a lot of fun. This method is built on the fact that vingt-et-un seems to be a match of runs. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I bet with basic strategy twenty-one. When I do not win I bet the table minimum on the successive hand. If I lose again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the payout paid to me and I bet the original wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the action back down to the original sum.
I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets extremely enjoyable at times. If you win a few hands in series your bets go up very fast. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic runs a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the MGM a number of years ago with $750 after 35 minutes using this method! And a few months ago in Atlantic City I left a game with $1200!
You have to understand that you can relinquish much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be aghast at the streaks you witness gamble this way. Here is a guide of what you would wager if you continue winning at a 5 dollar table.
Wager five dollar
Take $5 paid to you, leave the first $5 wager
Wager five dollar
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total bet of $10
Wager 10 dollar
Take $10 paid to you, leave the initial $10 bet
Bet 10 dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total bet of $20
Bet twenty dollar
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 20 dollar bet
Wager 20 dollar
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total wager of forty dollar
Bet forty dollar
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 40 dollar bet
Bet $40
Leave $40 paid-out to you for a total wager of eighty dollar
Bet $80
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the initial $80 bet
Wager eighty dollar
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total wager of one hundred and sixty dollar
Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the original 160 dollar wager
If you left at this point you would be up $315 !!
It is difficult to go on a run this long, but it often happen. And when it does you can NOT deviate and drop your bet or the end result will not be the same.
