I have enjoyed millions of hands of chemin de fer. I began sneaking into the casinos when I was still underage. I have played online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. With all that said I have still lost an abundance of bankroll at vingt-et-un. The gambling halls have made it very hard to defeat the game.

I still like the game and play on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have played a variation of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get flush with this tactic or defeat the house, however you will have a lot of fun. This method is centered on the fact that blackjack seems to be a match of streaks. When you are hot your on fire, and when you are not you are NOT!

I play basic strategy 21. When I lose I bet the table minimum on the successive hand. If I do not win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. Whenever I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the wager back down to the original value.

I am very strict and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely thrilling sometimes. If you win a few hands in series your bets go up very quickly. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic streaks a few times now. I departed a $5 table at the Wynn a couple of years back with $750 after 20 mins using this method! And a number of months ago in Vegas I left a table with $1200!

You must understand that you can say good-bye to much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be surprised at the streaks you witness wagering this way. Here is a chart of what you would bet if you kept winning at a five dollar game.

Take $5 paid to you, leave the initial 5 dollar bet

Leave $5 paid to you for a total wager of $10

Wager 10 dollar
Take 10 dollar paid to you, leave the initial ten dollar wager

Bet ten dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $20

Wager twenty dollar
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $20 bet

Bet $20
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total bet of 40 dollar

Wager $40
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the initial $40 wager

Wager $40
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 80 dollar

Wager 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 80 dollar wager

Wager $80
Leave $80 paid to you for a total bet of $160

Wager $160
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the original $160 wager

If you left at this instance you would be up $315 !!

It’s iffy to go on a streak this long, but it often happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and lower your bet or the end result will not be the same.
